Hello & Welcome!

I am a Clinical and Consulting Psychologist, and a Professional Mediator. I provide Collaborative Psychotherapy, Coaching, Mediation & Consultation Services to:

  • Individuals & Families dealing with aging issues, separation and divorce, chronic medical conditions, and other stressful life transitions.
  • Groups & Communities seeking to collaborate more effectively.
  • Educators and Organizations interested in creating quality online learning events.
In addition, I am a Senior Consultant with ArpegioHealth, and a Principal at Elder Mediation of Colorado, LLC. Periodically, I teach as an adjunct faculty member at D.U.'s PsyD program, U.Colorado's M.A. Clinical Psychology program (Denver), as well as other health and educational organizations.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Conflict Resolution and credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. I am also a member of Mediators Beyond Borders, the Gerontological Society of America, and the Colorado Gerontological Society.

I obtained my BA in Psychology, from the University of Maryland in 1967, and Ph.D. in the APA-Approved School/Community/ Clinical Child Psychology program at University of Virginia, 1979.

Happily, I served as a Peace Corp Volunteer (Community Organizer) in Colombia, SA, 1967-69.

I completed an initial APA-Approved Internship in Clinical Psychology @ Spring Grove State Hospital(Catonsville, MD), 1971-72 - focused on adults & adolescents, individual & group interventions. I did a second APA-Approved Internship in Clinical Psychology @ Worcester Youth Guidance Center (Massachusetts), in 1976-77 - focused on all ages, individual, group, & family interventions.

I was first licensed as a Psychologist in Massachusetts in 1980, and later licensed as a Psychologist in Colorado in 1995.

I worked at the Worcester Youth Guidance Center (Mass.) as a Staff Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor, Coordinator of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy Services, and Director of Consultation, Education & Training. I provided psychotherapy to children and families, in English and Spanish, as well as program and clinical consultation to over 40 agencies in the health and human services sectors, 1977-89.

For many years, I collaborated with the Pediatrics Dept. @ the University of Massachusetts Medical Center as a Clinical Associate & then joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics, serving children and families, Anglo and Latino, with learning and developmental disabilities, and chronic and terminal illnesses, 1985-95.

Most importantly, I am Barbara's husband, and Joshua & David's Dad.
